Road Condition Links

North Dakota Department of Transport Travel Information Map: This continuously updated map gives the most accurate and up-to-date information about driving conditions on North Dakota highways. Click on the highway of your choice (such as US 83 between Minot and the base) and a window containing additional information such as travel speeds with appear.

ND DOT Road Condition App: You can download the app version of the Travel Information Map here.

Minot AFB Public Affairs Facebook Page: The Public Affairs Facebook page is the best place on the Internet to go for Air Force highway and base road conditions and for reporting information. This information can also be obtained by calling the Base Storm Center at 701-723-1190.

Minot AFB Roads, Weather, and Gates Page: Base road condition codes explained plus contact info for road conditions, the gate, schools, and more.

NWS North Dakota Winter Weather Briefing: Includes the ND NOT road condition map, radar, current conditions, watches/warnings/advisories, and more.
