The card holder is responsible to pay for any purchases over the stated amounts.
ESM Details
To ensure proper in-processing, the Inbound ESM Personnel Letter MUST be filled out and signed BY each unit for all inbound dorm residents each month. The completed letter is to be e-mailed to the Food Service Accountant who will provide a copy to the DFAC cashiers: this Ensures members are in-processed to the correct unit & are not charged twice for their meals.
Anyone who is placed on ESM must present their military ID card at all NAF food service facilities. When dining at the DFAC, ESM customers will either present their ID card or a copy of their orders. Individuals who are not enrolled or are showing as invalid for ESM will pay for meals until the ESM status is validated by their Unit Commander.
