Assistance is designed for relocating military members, DOD civilians, and their families. The goal is to increase the knowledge and skills needed to accomplish a successful move.
DOD has launched a new web based Sponsor training. The site provides you with training, Sponsorship duty checklist, Newcomer and family needs assessment, Welcome letter templates, Important links to moving web sites, Status updates and Customer satisfaction surveys. To get started just go to http://apps.mhf.dod.mil/esat and the rest is up to you. Remember we are always here to help you.
Are you ready? Get started with the Plan My Move tutorial located on the AF Portal. To find the tutorial go to Portal>Bases/Orgs>My base>Support Services>Integrated Delivery System (IDS)>Airman and Family Readiness and scroll down to the relocation area. The training is required for all 0-1 and 0-2s, all E-4s and below and anyone going overseas. You will be introduced to the official DoD source for information on military instillations world-wide. You and your family are encouraged to come in for relocation assistance especially if employment is a concern.
Military Homefront is the official DoD source for information on over 300 military installations. Visit Plan My Move and create a personalized PCS plan tailored to your needs. Buying, selling or renting a home just got a whole lot easier with the Automated Housing Referral Network. Just go to www.ahrn.com and utilize this valuable service. Also available is a video library of Air Force installations. Call 723-3950 for more information.
This Minot AFB Intro Program is designed to inform newly assigned personnel of services and resources available on the base and in the surrounding area.
