Readiness is the ability to deploy and employ without delay and is fundamental to the successful accomplishment of the Air Force mission. Deployments and remote assignments are parts of military life for which service members and families need to prepare. The A&FRC has a variety of information and resources to include briefings, classes, publications, and outreach services to ensure readiness and enhance quality of life.
All personnel going remote, TDY or deploying for 30 days or more are required to attend. Family members are highly encouraged to attend with the member. Classes are held every Wednesday at 2 p.m. Call 723-3950 to register.

Remember what it felt like to be a new spouse to a base or to the Air Force. Here’s your chance to assist others, so they don’t travel the same bumpy road you had to. This squadron commander program trains volunteer spouses on all support services available to assist other spouses in their squadron during deployments, remotes, TDYs and overall adaptation to the military lifestyle. One of the most difficult parts of being in the military is dealing with separation and reunions; but, there is help available. All Consultants and Readiness NCOs at the A&FRC provide one-on-one and group reunion/reintegration education. They can assist/educate on communication, financial or separation issues.
